NEW LOOK FOR HYCOTE AS JAMES BRIGGS BOOSTS GROWTH

James Briggs, one of Europe’s largest aerosol and consumer chemicals manufacturers, has refreshed the branding of its market-leading automotive paint brand, Hycote, to cap off an exceptional year of sales.

The redesigned branding, which will feature across all product livery, is accompanied by an extension to its product ranges, including 10 additional spray paints and two new maintenance products. James Briggs’s extensive R&D team has also engineered 30 new exact match colours, in both sprays and colour brushes, widening its already impressive offering to the automotive market.

The Oldham-based business announced an 80 per cent increase for Hycote’s year-on-year sales in March, and has now moved to support that growth with a fresh new image.

Commenting on the new designs, James Briggs Commercial Director Max Bass said: “Hycote has long been established as a market-leading automotive paint for both the commercial and consumer markets but, like all things, it’s vital that it continues to grow and adapt to maintain its position in the market. The new branding has been designed to introduce a more modern feel, whilst maintaining the heritage that customers have come to associate Hycote with, which we feel will only further its popularity.”
